Butter Naan is delicious and easy to make. You can make it in a variety of ways like adding garlic, cheese, coriander or then just let it be plain. This is a tried and tested recipe by me and it tasted great.
Ingredients
1 Cup Plain Flour (maida)
1 Cup Milk (approximately)
2 Tbsp Curd (dahi)
2 to 3 Pinches Baking Soda
2 Tbsp Butter
Coriander Leaves (Finely Chopped)
2 Tbsp Curd (dahi)
2 to 3 Pinches Baking Soda
2 Tbsp Butter
Coriander Leaves (Finely Chopped)
Salt to Taste
Method
- Mix maida, baking soda and salt. Add milk (as reqd.), butter and curd and make it into a dough.
- Cover with a muslin cloth and Keep it aside for 3-4 hours.
- Now make balls out of the dough.
- Put tava on high flame. Roll the maida balls into rotis and heat one side on the tava then flip it and heat the other side.
- Take it off the heat. Put butter on the front side of the roti and sprinkle a pinch of coriander on top.
- Serve hot with a gravy or sabzi.
