Bread Halwa is a famous recipe among most of the Indians. The wonderful part about this sweet dish is that it is made quickly, easily and ofcourse is extremely tasty as I always say no point in cooking quick if it doesn’t taste good.
Ingredients
3 Tbsp Ghee
1 Pack Bread
1 Cup Milk
1 Cup Sugar
3-4 Elaichi (Powdered)
Almonds to Garnish (Cut in Slices)
Method
- Cut the Bread pieces into 6.
- Heat ghee in a pan and fry the bread pieces for about 2 mins.
- Make sure you dip all the pieces in ghee.
- Add the milk to the ghee stirring continuously.
- Add sugar, elaichi powder and keep stirring.
- Stir till the liquid evaporates and it turns into a thick halwa.
- Garnish with almond slices.
- Serve hot.
