Pancakes are of religious significance to The Christians. They celebrate Pancake Day on Tuesday and also fast for forty days to celebrate the 40 days and 40 nights that Jesus spent on wilderness. Infact, the ingredients used in making the pancake are all the ingredients that the Christians would avoid eating for those 40 days.
I received this recipe from my mother. Well she tried to invent different recipes during her early days of marriage and this is one of them. There was no internet at that time to share it with all but now technology has made life so simple for us.
