Ingredients
½ Kg Mutton
1 Cup Bread Crumbs
2-3 Eggs
1 Onion
1 Tomato
A Pinch Garam Masala
10 Flakes Garlic
10 Green Chilies
Salt to Taste
10 Cashewnuts
1 Lime Juice
1 Mango Powder
Chili Powder to Taste
1 Cup Coriander Leaves
A Bunch Mint Leaves
A Pinch Ajinomoto
A few Mint Leaves
Oil for Frying
Method
- Grind to a fine paste all the ingredients except mutton, bread crumbs, egg, mint leaves and ajinomoto.
- Cut mutton pieces without bones into 1” pieces and flatten them. Wash and dry it.
- To the masala paste, add the ajinomota and apply this to the mutton. Let the mutton marinade for 4-6 hrs.
- Prick each piece of mutton with a fork.
- Take wooden sticks (broom type) and cut them into 3” pieces in length. Make a point at one end of the stick.
- Pierce the mutton into the sticks (about 4-5 pieces)
- Beat the eggs till stiff. Coat the sticks in the bread crumbs and flatten them with your palm of the hand. Dip them in the egg and fry light brown in hot oil.
- Serve hot with some mint leaves and ketchup.
