Sola Khichdi is a famous delicacy especially among the Surtis.
The word sola is Spanish and it means a baby and so I would regard Sola Khichdi as the baby of all Khichdis.
I personally love eating the sola khichdi just plain with coconut chutney or with any kind of an achaar. However, it is meant to be eaten with dahi or a soup.
